Manuel Antonio National Park is the most visited park in the country. It was started in 1972. It is a small park, but beautiful.

The cloud forest is a unique biological preserve with a cloud canopy. It is a four hour drive from San Jose. The Monteverde Cloud Forest biological reserve is one of the most stunning and breathtaking nature reserves in the entire world.

You can visit Corcovado National Park as well. People say it is "breathtakingly beautiful." This park is beautiful because it has the biggest and only tropical primary lowland rain forest in the world.

Parque Nacional Tortugueroin Limon province, the tiny town of Tortuguero is truly a magical destination. The most important turtle nesting site on the entire western half of the Caribbean for the Green Sea Turtle
Jaco is one of the most popular Costa Rican beaches. Surfing here is great as the waves are consistently big and the breaks are very good.
Red Metal Church Grecia in Alajuela province has the distinction of being one of the cleanest towns in Central America.

La Paz Waterfall-Can be seen from the road. This waterfall is in Central Costa Rica. La Paz means peace in Spanish.
